Join us at the Lunch Table with Margaret Bancerz as we unravel food systems and food policy in Canada. Food is inherently political and interconnected to many aspects of the lives of a youth in Canada. In this episode, we learn about the current state of food systems and policy in our nation, and the role youth can play in making food an elections topic.

This episode is part of Youth Vote: what's on the plate; a mini-series that examines the 2019 Canadian federal elections through a food and food policy lens. In this mini-series we talk with Margaret Bancerz about food systems and policy, the Toronto Youth Food Policy Council about youth food activism, and the National Farmers Union about farming and food systems.

This mini-series was generously supported by TakingITGlobal, the Government of Canada and Canada Service Corps.
